A disgusting smile spread across the young demons face. Never had he felt so alive since his becoming. The blood that dribbled down his face met his tongue as he eyed his fallen opponent. The other demon looked more beast than human. He hadn't realised nor cared in the past that demons take on many forms. Not all appeared in a form similar to humans like his long time butler now servant for eternity Sebastian Michaelis. His opponent spat as it clambered to its feet. Its face resembled a bear which might have unnerved him as a human. As a demon he found fear was one thing he now lacked.

"Oh...not finished yet?" Ciel announced as the demon finally stood upright.

A sigh escaped Sebastian's lips as he watched from afar. He had been ordered by his now demon master to not interfere until the fight was finished. He had warned his master that he wasn't ready to fight yet. They had trained long and hard but the young demon still had much to learn. Though his master obviously felt much stronger than he had as a human he failed to realise as far as demon's go he was still pathetically weak. He had thought he would get some pleasure out of watching his arrogant master be beaten silly but the event had just become tiresome. Ciel's opponent was rather weak in comparison to himself though it was more than capable of defeating his cocky master. Sebastian waited for the inevitable and wondered how long it would take for his master to call his name.

Ciel watched in surprise as his opponent suddenly let out a large thunderous laugh. Until now it had only gotten a few cheap shots in and he didnft see a reason for its sudden humorous expression...unless...

"Let me guess." He spat out as the grin returned to his face.  "You were holding back the whole time?"

His eyes glared at the other demon as his face became serious.

"How cliche!"

He had wondered why a creature that was older and ten times the size of him had been so easy to attack. In the end he had presumed he was just naturally talented and his speed was no match for its slow moves. His mind wandered back to his training with Sebastian. The butler had told him he did have some natural skills but that it was not enough yet to keep him safe in hell. Even as a demon Ciel did not wish to rely solely on his butler and had insisted to learn the ways of a demon immediately.

His thoughts broke as a large blow met his face. He had been stupid to let his mind wander during a fight. It seemed his opponent did have some speed after all. Before he could react another blow met the back of his head. The immense pain that followed strangely felt as pleasurable as it was to eat sweets as a human. His body slammed to the ground as he noticed his vision had become distorted. A pool of blood formed around his head soaking his hair. As he stood he could feel excessive amounts of blood running down his back. He was so lost in the pain he didnft even know where his opponent was until he felt its large hands wrap around his neck. The crunching sound seemed to come from afar. His head tilted downwards so his eyes met his small feet that dangled below him. His ears rang and his mind had gone blank as the demon slammed him in to the ground repeatedly.

After awhile it stopped, leaving him a mess of shattered bone and blood. His eye trailed the horizon. He knew somewhere out there Sebastian would be laughing at him. In fact Sebastian did not laugh he just sighed again and waited for his master to call him to his side. Surely the fight was over.

As hard as Ciel strained his eyes he couldn't see his butler. He decided this was probably for the best as right now he didn't have the strength to even move let alone maintain some form of pride. Suddenly a large ripping sound drew his attention then his body lifted from the ground once again. He watched helplessly as his destroyed clothing fell off his body and to the ground below. His opponent said no words just snickered loudly in his ear as it drew him closer to its large form. Ciel involuntarily shuddered sending new darts of pain through his whole body.  He gulped sending blood, saliva and broken shards of tooth down his throat as his body was pressed against the large demons. He felt its warmth on his skin momentarily then he was lifted higher. So that was its intension, he would have sighed if he could. In his mind he had already surrendered to this fate, his pride as a demon had become worse than when he was alive. The way he had ordered Sebastian not to interfere until the fight was over no matter what was all he could think about now...there was no going back on those words.  As he was lowered he closed his eyes and waited for more pain to fill his body.

Instead he felt the grip on him loosen, his body slammed into the ground before he had time to react and break the fall. Using all his energy he rolled on to his side and glanced up to see the large demon, now headless, fall in a heap behind him. Its head made a loud thump as it hit the ground. A shadow appeared over him as soft foot steps fell behind his head.

Ciel's voice came out slurred. "I told you not to interfere."

Sebastian knelt down and examined the battered face of his master. "The fight was over young master."

Ciel turned as he didnft feel like facing his butler right now. He waited in silence for the "I told you so's" but they never came.

"Leave me."

Sebastian frowned. "It is not a good idea young master. There are many vultures in hell."

Ciel knew he didnft mean the actual birds of the living world and knew that the butler was right.
His body had already started to heal itself so he was able to slide up in to a sitting position.
Gazing at the horizon he felt the hot wind rippling through his hair.

"Tomorrow...you will teach me more."

Sebastian sat beside his master. "Yes my Lord."
This is my first try at a fan fiction. I'm not good at grammar/POV/spacing or anything ^^; and know there are many mistakes so I would like some advice to help me improve.
This is the first chapter of a longer story set after the Black Butler anime 2.
Preview sketch by me.

The characters are from Black Butler by Yana Toboso.

It seems to have a bit of a problem with flow. Repetition of words ontop of very large paragraphs can be quite off-putting to any reader. You express each action welll, but not every movement needs a voice, an d not every detail both grotesque and visceral needs to be told with such fervor. ^^ sometimes the implied details are more rewarding than those told. I`d be glad to help you out if you want. I`d go into further detail right now but im typing everything from my phone while im at work. :(
